Students will be using their six-digit student identification number. Cafeteria staff will assist the district’s youngest students as they become familiar to the new pad payment method. This system has helped both the lunchroom staff and the parents of students to keep track of their lunch money and charges. We can also give you a print out of your child’s account. As a parent you could have us limit your child’s ala carte purchases with just a phone call.
Parents may continue to pay for their children’s lunches by sending checks or cash to the school lunchroom as in the past. Parents are urged to write the child’s name and identification number on the envelope or check. If you have more than one student, you may send in one check, write their names and identification number on the check and the amount for each child’s account.
Fairfield Local School's Lunch & Breakfast Charge Policy
Grades 1-4: Maximum of two charges at any one time.
Grades 5-12: Maximum of one charge at any one time.
Students who have reached their limit on lunch charges and do not have lunch money for that day will be given a peanut butter sandwich and milk. This is only for lunch.
Please remember to send in your "Free and Reduced Lunch Waiver Forms" as soon as possible.
Students previously approved for free or reduced lunches at Fairfield Local Schools last school year will be on the program until a new form is submitted and approved or the October deadline is reached. Last year's students will be removed from the program if new applications are not approved.
Applications for free or reduced lunches may be submitted anytime during the school year. This is helpful if your household income decreases.
